Test Review
Today we are reviewing Unit Rates and Ratios for tomorrow's assessment. Here are a couple of "interesting" videos to help for reminders if you have a couple of minutes to check them out.

Unit Rate again, but different

Consumer report video about unit price, not sure I agree there needs to be a law though. If people knew math they would not need to have a law :)

Some Desmos graphing fun
Yesterday we really took off on getting ratio tables to work, so today we are going to refocus on the coordinate plane. You will be working with a program called desmos. Read the user manual first, but I will also give you a tutorial before we start. Here are the two links we'll use today:

Level Up day
Hello everyone, the gradebook is up to date and all current scores are in the computer. We did a level up day today and there was progress shown in moving from 1's to 2's and 3's on our skills.
We're moving into more rates and ratios and will assess on the topic around December 18th and doing a mid-year assessment of all 6th grade skills on the 19th to see how much we've learned.
Continued daily practice of xtramath is encouraged for those not yet done with multiplication and we are also in the middle of the Khan-test that will conclude on the 19th as well.

When you finish, feel free to continue building points for the Khan-test. Also, you can do xtramath if you are not done with that as well.

Chapter Four Review
Here's a review that will help you to be ready for the assessment tomorrow. When you finish remember the KhanTest for this month, top person wins in each class, and top five may also win a prize from each class. Remember that only points from December 1st to December 19th when your class starts count.
