Activities for today!

Friday, November 20, 2015

So you're done with the level up?

Step One.
- Figure out how many minutes are left in class and divide it by two, that's how many minutes you should work on Khan today.

Step Two.
- check out hoodamath games or another math site.

Suggestions if you can't find anything else to do.

Chapter 4 Assessment today

Today we see what we know about area or shapes.  It is a not a huge test, so hopefully it was well done and checked over well.

Tomorrow is a level up day.  I "recommended" many skills on www.khanacademy.org that will help with those skills.

If you finish early with the assessment, please also check out some of these games if you have time.

Find the Suspect  my record was level 5

Suit Up

Tomorrow is level up day and next week we only have two days!  Keep learning and working hard.

Friday Tasks before our Test on Monday

First the 1st term ended and we're into the 2nd.  Last chance today to fancy up skill grades before report card printing and conferences.  I'll get you a sheet if you need to level up on any 1's.

Task One: Level Up Check Up Term 1 sheets.  I will let you know which sections you have a 1 in and offer a few more problems to prove that you learned them from last time.

Task Two:  www.bigideasmath.com Take the Chapter 3 Practice Test.  You may work with a partner or partners to solve these if you want to.  Skip some if you want, it's just a practice test to see how the problems might look and prepare you a little better.

Task Three: At least 10 minutes of Khan Academy.

Task Four: www.hoodamath.com or other quiet things to make you smarter than you are right now.  :)

Test is on Monday for Algebraic Expressions.
